Assumption-Iloilo is now 100 Years Old!!!

Assumption-Iloilo was first established, of course here in Iloilo in the year 1910. It was unbelievable when I first knew it, since I was a new student last year. The Assumption community started preparing for this centennial celebration almost five years ago, which is represented by their five core values which are:faith, love, truth, justice and also included here our last year's theme which is, JOY=Jesus Only You! and now the year that we've totally waiting and prepared for have arrived, Assumption is now at its 100th birthday or should I say the Centennial Year...
This year was really been a busy year for all of us, we've had a lot of singing practices that made us clamor always and as well, it also helps us avoid quizzes in other subjects..(kidding):))...And we've had many days of no class because of the talks and events in which we've learned to be responsible in our daily schedules and we've learned a lot..
This centennial celebration, sure would be a really memorable experience on our lives. because we've enjoyed it so much because of the games and activities facilitated by the alumni..
Thanks for all our efforts that made our centennial celebration a success..and Assumption-Iloilo is a gift that's worth sacrificing for......To God be the Glory!!!!

Growing Up 101

Wasn't it's just yesterday that we ask our mothers, our home works? Now were hanging out with our friends, going to parties, and some of us are even getting asked out for dates.
Becoming a young woman isn't easy, but our mothers can prepare us for the challenges of growing up.Because they've been through it before , and they're our best source of information and support. Our mothers can't always be there to protect us, their daughters. But even now they can talk to us about making responsible choices for our future, so we must be open for it.
